Unity began with a “spiritual healing” that was mediated through thoughts and feelings\, AND application of principles. Participants will be working with Myrtle and Charles Fillmore’s interpretation of healing and wholeness\, and how they apply to today’s world. The focus will mainly be on Myrtle Fillmore since she is the foundation for Unity as a healing movement. The system connects the power centers to spiritual qualities symbolically associated with the 12 Disciples of Christ; the Christ is symbolically associated with the Spiritual or Higher Self. Students will explore\, and experientially apply the 12-power system as a way of realizing and releasing their innate inner divinity to something in their life experience that they want to change or develop in consciousness.
