Please join the ER Board of Trustees as we discuss the business of the Unity Eastern Region, elect board members and share future planning.

ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP 1.
Categories of Membership:
a. Individual Members are:
1) Any ordained or licensed Minister in good standing with Unity Worldwide Ministries, who lives or is employed in the geographical area designated by Unity Worldwide Ministries as the Eastern Region.
2) Any Licensed Unity Teacher in good standing with Unity Worldwide Ministries, who is serving a Unity Ministry or sponsored by a Unity Minister in good standing, in the geographical area designated by Unity Worldwide Ministries as the Eastern Region. Inactive Licensed Unity Teachers are welcome as non-voting members of the Eastern Region.
3) Any Spiritual Leader of an active Unity Ministry authorized by and in good standing with Unity Worldwide Ministries.
b. Organizational Members are any Ministry authorized by and in good standing with Unity Worldwide Ministries.
2. Voting at any Annual or Special meeting:
a. Every individual Member of UWMER shall have one vote.
b. Up to Two (2) lay delegates selected by the Board of Trustees of each Member Ministry shall have a vote.
c. Member Ministries shall be limited to a total of five (5) votes including the Minister(s) and Licensed Unity Teacher(s) in good standing in the Ministry. When the potential for more than five votes exists, the Member Ministry’s Board of Trustees will determine who the voting delegates are.
NOTE: Lay delegates must provide a letter on ministry letterhead and signed by Minister or Board President no later than September 26, 2025.

This session meets and exceed requirements for a DEI credit.
Join us at a virtual Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Camp for Adults focusing on Inclusivity Diversity Equity and Accessibility. Briana will facilitate us in ‘being as a small child’ in an interactive approach to more effective revolutionary leadership.
Join us for a transformative virtual Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Camp for Adults—a dynamic gathering designed to deepen our collective commitment to equity and social change. This immersive experience centers on fostering authentic inclusion, embracing diverse perspectives, and dismantling barriers to accessibility in our communities and workplaces. Guiding us through this powerful journey is Briana, an experienced facilitator known for her innovative and compassionate approach to leadership development.
Briana will lead us in a unique and reflective session rooted in the concept of “being as a small child”—a practice that invites us to return to a place of curiosity, openness, and humility. Through interactive exercises and guided dialogue, participants will engage in reimagining leadership not as dominance or control, but as presence, listening, and radical empathy. Whether you’re new to IDEA work or a seasoned advocate, this camp will challenge and inspire you to lead more effectively and humanely in today’s complex world.
Briana M. Mitchell
Briana is the Founding President of S’more Summer, a Change Summer initiative, where she partners with camps to create more summer experiences that center joy, equity, and belonging. She is also the President of Strategy and Operations for Change Summer, which creates high-quality, transformative summer opportunities for students from under-resourced communities. Briana serves as an active member of the Board of Trustees of the American Camp Association of New York and New Jersey as well as the co-chair of the affiliate’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee. A self-proclaimed master of the bucket brigade, Briana spent her formative summers at a sleepaway camp in Pennsburg, PA. She continued her camp career as a counselor and activities director at an all-girls camp in Honesdale, PA before serving as the Director of AF Camp.
