Is your spiritual center a safe place for people of various gender identities and expressions? In this two-hour workshop, we’ll dive into the grand and glorious world of gender and spirituality. We’ll explore our own relationship to the feminine and masculine within. We’ll take a look at current understandings of gender expression, gender identity, sexual and romantic orientation, and sex assigned at birth. We’ll discuss pronouns and why they matter, as well as how we can use inclusive language to create belonging in our spiritual communities. Through guided meditation, journaling, and group discussions, we’ll tackle these issues and more. And we’ll have fun while we’re at it!
Individuals may register for $25; Ministries can register for $75 for unlimited members.
This training qualifies as a required DEI credit for credentialed leaders.
Rev. Z Egloff (they/them)
Rev. Z Egloff (they/them) is an ordained minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, holding a Master’s in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute. Z also holds a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from JFK University. Z, along with their wife Rev. Dr. Melissa Phillippe, is the co-founder of OhMyGod Life, an online and traveling ministry. OhMyGod Life’s mission is to bring radical joy to the world. At their virtual home, OhMyGodLife.com, they offer videos, music, books, classes, and more. Revs Z and Melissa also speak, perform music, and facilitate workshops and retreats nationwide.
